This is the story of Partha's participation in the 2007 National Geography Bee. He represented the Commonwealth of Virginia. As you will see in this slide show, the National Geographic Society brought 55 of the brightest American kids (and their immediate families), and over a period of three days, blended one of the toughest competition nation wide with a lot of fun - trolley tours, meeting with Congressmen, Picnics, Gift exchanges and a gala banquet to end the event. Thanks to Partha, our family, his teacher and the Virginia Bee Coordinator were treated to one of the most valuable and wonderful event that we witnessed. Welcome to the slide show!
