Antonio (Colorado) and Solly Mayer (Kentucky) stood first with 8 out of 9 correct. They made it. Partha and Jon did not. There were 2 students (who turned out to be the winner and runner up in the finals) who got a perfect score. 8 out of the 10 got 8 correct. Partha, Jon and the Oregon State champion were eleventh place winner because they got 7 out of 9.
