Ingredients:

1 cup whole-wheat flour

1 cup all purpose flour

3-10 tbsp oil

Salt to taste

½ tsp ajwain

2-6 tbsp of water

Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Combine the flours and 3-10 tbsp oil ... depending on the texture of you like (less oil will make it more crisp) salt ajwain.
  2. Sprinkle water by one tablespoon till you have a hard dough.
  3. Roll out small or large and cut with cookie cutters.

Heat oil, then deep fry on medium until golden brown.
