Ingredients

4 boiled potatoes, peeled

1/2 cup boiled green peas

1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon chaat masala
-
juice of 1/2 lemon

salt to taste
-
2 tablespoons oil to fry the tikkis
Method

Put the
potatoes and peas in
a mixing bowl and mash well till no lumps remain.

Add the
coriander leaves, chili powder, chaat masala, lemon juice and salt and mix
well.

Divide into 8
portions and roll into round patties. (Option: cut out into pretty shapes
such as diamond or heart using a cookie cutter).

Heat oil in a
frying pan; shallow fry the tikkis on both sides till golden brown.

Put in a
serving plate and serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
