  Masoor kabab

Ingredients

1cup masoor, whole
4 medium size potatoes
2 tsp green chilies, coarsely crushed
1tsp ginger paste
1tsp garlic paste
4-5 tsp breadcrumbs
1tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Fresh chopped coriander leaves

Method

  1. Cook the masoor till tender. Boil potatoes and mash them when hot.
  2. Mix the masoor, mashed potatoes, green chili paste, ginger, garlic, salt, breadcrumbs, garam masala powder, red chili powder and fresh finely chopped coriander together and give them a tikki shape.
  3. Dust them into little breadcrumbs and deep fry till golden brown.

Serve with pudina chutney or tomato ketchup.
