Ingredients
1cup masoor, whole
4 medium size potatoes
2 tsp green chilies, coarsely crushed
1tsp ginger paste
1tsp garlic paste
4-5 tsp breadcrumbs
1tsp garam masala powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Fresh chopped coriander leaves
Method
- Cook the masoor till tender.
Boil potatoes and mash them when hot.
- Mix the masoor, mashed
potatoes, green chili paste, ginger, garlic, salt, breadcrumbs, garam
masala powder, red chili powder and fresh finely chopped coriander
together and give them a tikki shape.
- Dust them into little
breadcrumbs and deep fry till golden brown.
Serve with pudina chutney or tomato ketchup.
