  Paneer Tash Kababs

Paneer Taash Kabab

Ingredients

400 gm Paneer (cottage cheese), sliced into 7
2 Onions sliced
2 Tomatoes sliced
8 tbsp Homemade mint chutney
8 Sliced cheese
1 cup cheese, grated (optional)
 ½ tsp freshly crushed black pepper
1 tbsp Fresh cream

For marinade
1/3 cup Hung yogurt
2 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
4 tsp Ginger/garlic paste
1 tsp Garam masala
2 tbsp Mustard oil
Chaat masala to taste
Salt to taste

Recipe

  1. Mix well all the marinade ingredients and spread evenly on the sliced paneer. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

  2. Spread mint chutney evenly on the sliced paneer.

  3. Arrange sliced onions and tomatoes on each sliced paneer and cover with the sliced cheese.

  4. Stack each layer of sliced paneer one on top of the other, by repeating the process.

  5. Make a mixture of cream and crushed black pepper and pour over the top layer.

  6. Place the last cheese slice on top, bake at moderate temperature for 10 minutes in the oven.

  7. Cut into desired equal sizes.
