  Sabudana Vada

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sabudana (Sago)

  • 500 GMS Potato

  • 2-3 Small Green Chilies (finely Chopped)

  • 1/3 Cup Roasted Peanut (Groundnut) Powder

  • 1/2 tsp. Cumin Seeds

  • Oil to fry Vadas

  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. Soak the Sabudana (sago) in 1 cup of water for 4-5 hours.

  2. Boil the Potatoes and mash it to make a paste.

  3. Add this potato paste, green chilies, salt ,cumin seeds and other ingredients into the soaked Sabudana (sago) and mix it well.

  4. Make small vadas (balls) from this and fry them into the oil, until they become brownish and fluffy.

  5. Serve with curd or mint or tamarind chutney.
