  Vegetable Cutlet

Ingredients

Vegetables - Potato, beans, carrots, green peas, beet root (if preferred)

Onion – grated

Salt, red chili powder and garam masala to taste

A pinch of cinnamon

Rice flour

Rawa or cream of wheat

Method

  1. Steam the vegetables in a pressure cooker or a food steamer and mash them.
  2. Add grated onions, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder and ground cinnamon. Knead the mixture tightly. 
  3. Take some rice flour and add water to make it into a batter.
  4. Make the vegetable mixture into evenly sized balls.
  5. Roll the balls in the rice flour batter and then roll it with rawa.
  6. Deep fry the balls until they turn golden brown. 

Serve with chutney or ketchup
