  Green Mango Chutney

Ingredients

½ kg Green mangoes, cut with skin, boat shaped 
2 Dry red chilies
1 cup Sugar/Jaggery
Panch poron as required
2 tsp Oil
Salt to taste

Recipe

  1. Heat the oil, add the panch poron, red chilies and when they begin to splutter, add the green mangoes.

  2. Cover with water, add sugar/jaggery and cook.

  3. When the fruit is cooked and a thick syrup is formed, add the salt.

  4. Roast a little panch poron and powder it.

  5. When the chaatni is cool sprinkle little panch poron over this chaatni.
