Ingredients
500 gm Raw mangoes
500 gm Jaggery
½ tsp Methi seeds
5-6 Whole red chilies
6-8 Cloves
2-3 pieces Cinnamon
250 gm Oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds
¼ tsp Hing
Salt to taste
Recipe

Peel the raw mangoes and remove seed. Cut into 1 inch pieces, apply salt and
set aside for 24 hours.

Remove the water collected and wash the pieces. Drain in a bowl.

Powder the cloves and cinnamon coarsely.

Heat the oil and temper with mustard seeds, hing, methi seeds, dry red
chilies.

Add
the mango pieces and jaggery, add a little water if required and cook till
the jaggery coats the mango pieces.

Remove from heat and sprinkle cloves and cinnamon powder.

Store in an airtight container.
