Ingredients

1/2 cup tamarind (imli)

2 tbsp. jaggery (gur), grated

2 tsp. chili powder
-
1 tsp. roasted cumin seed
powder (jeera)

1/4 tsp. coriander seeds,
crushed

Salt according to taste
Method
-
Soak the tamarind in
3/4 cup of warm water for 30 minutes.
-
Squeeze out the pulp from the tamarind mixture.
-
Add the jaggery, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander seeds and
salt and mix well. Add water if needed.
-
Strain the mixture until it becomes thick.
