  Aaloo Mutter Curry

Ingredients

Potatoes - 4(medium)
Garlic&ginger paste - 2tsp
Green chilies - 4(chopped lengthwise)
Red onions - 2(medium)
Curry leaves - ˝cup
Oil - 1tbsp
Peas - 1 cup
Curry powder - 1tsp
Fresh coriander - 1tbsp
Salt to taste

Method

  1. semi-boil the potatoes.
  2. Drain & peel them, cut them into medium sized bits.
  3. Chop the onions, green chilies lengthwise.
  4. Heat oil in a big skillet, add cumin seeds and fry them to brown colour.
  5. Add chopped onion, chille pieces, garlic & ginger paste, curry powder & salt.
  6. Let them fry for 1 minute.
  7. Add boiled potatoes, green peas, stir well. Keep the lid. Simmer.
  8. Allow to cook till the potato get soft & tender.
  9. Remove from the heat and serve with chapathi, roti or it goes well with plain rice, pilaf also!!
