  Rose Falooda

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons falooda seeds (sabza)

  • 3 glasses cold milk

  • 6 teaspoons rose syrup

  • 4 ice cubes

  • 4 scoops vanilla ice-cream

Method

  1. Soak the sabza in 1 glass of water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, drain all the excess water from the sabza.

  2. Divide the soaked sabza into 4 glasses equally.

  3. In a bowl, mix the cold milk, iced cubes and rose syrup.

  4. Pour into glasses over sabza.

  5. Top each glass with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

  6. Serve immediately.

Variation: Add saffron instead of rose syrup and you have a kesar (saffron) falooda.

Makes 4 glasses
